i. Undertake a pre-works visit to finalise all details such as window design and size.
ii. Supply the contract via DocuSign detailing the Schedule of works, our terms and conditions and the 6-stage payment schedule.
iii. Prepare and submit the building regulations application and council notice.
iv. Agree a start date with you.
While most garage and outbuilding conversions are covered by permitted development, this isn’t always the case. Some companies may suggest that planning permission is never needed for a garage conversion, but that’s incorrect. Some new developments have their permitted development rights removed for a set period, meaning you will need to seek planning consent. If this is the case, we can assist you in determining whether planning is required and put you in touch with an architect we have worked with who can help with the planning and application process.
